Advanced Obedience Course (Board And Train)

Advanced Obedience for Greater Control, Confidence & Off-Leash Reliability

The CaninesCoach Basic Obedience Advance Programme is an intensive 3-month Board & Train programme designed for dogs that already have the ability to learn basic commands and now require a higher level of obedience, impulse control and reliability.

The programme progresses from structured command training to advanced real-life application. Your dog is gradually taught to respond around distractions, maintain positions for longer durations, work at greater distances and, where appropriate, develop reliable off-leash control.

The aim is to develop a dog that is not only trained inside the institute, but is calmer, more responsive and easier to manage in everyday situations.

Programme Overview

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Total Training Sessions: 120 sessions
  • Indoor Training Sessions: 80 sessions
  • Outdoor Training Sessions: 40 sessions
  • Training Format: Residential Board & Train
  • Session Duration: 30–45 minutes
  • Programme Fee: ₹29,000 per month
  • Total Programme Fee: ₹87,000

How the Programme Works

Phase 1: Advanced Foundation Training

Training begins by strengthening obedience, focus and consistency in a controlled environment.

The dog works on:

  • Stronger response to known commands
  • Longer-duration stays
  • Improved impulse control
  • Better handler focus
  • Distance-based commands
  • Reliable leash manners
  • Consistency without repeated commands

Phase 2: Distraction & Distance Training

Once the foundation becomes reliable, commands are practised with increasing levels of distraction.

Training includes:

  • Responding around people and dogs
  • Greater distance from the handler
  • Maintaining commands for longer durations
  • Controlled outdoor environments
  • Calm behaviour around everyday distractions
  • Improved recall and handler attention

Phase 3: Advanced & Off-Leash Application

Depending on the dog’s temperament, confidence, trainability and progress, training may advance to:

  • Controlled off-leash obedience
  • Reliable recall
  • Distance control
  • Stay beyond immediate visual range
  • Advanced outdoor application
  • Agility exercises
  • Fetch and play-based exercises where suitable

Our Advanced Training Approach

Advanced obedience is not about teaching more commands just for display. The real purpose is to develop greater reliability, better communication and stronger control in everyday life.

Our approach includes:

  • Progressive training from simple to complex situations
  • Individual training plans based on each dog
  • Friendly, fair and practical handling
  • Gradual increase in distance and distractions
  • Strong emphasis on recall and impulse control
  • Controlled introduction to off-leash work
  • Regular monitoring by experienced trainers
  • Training adjusted according to the dog’s progress

About Off-Leash Training

Off-leash work is introduced only when the dog demonstrates sufficient obedience, recall, focus and behavioural stability.

Not every dog progresses at the same speed, and safety always takes priority over demonstrating an off-leash command.

Our objective is reliable control—not simply removing the leash.
